McMeans Jr. High 7th grade students recently made animal cell replicas in very different ways. Each student created a model of a cell and labeled the organelles. They had to know the function of each organelle. Pictured are 7th graders Shane Gustin and Journi Millette from Mr. Woodard's class. Shane's cell was constructed on a base of wood with a working electronic panel. Corresponding buttons show the parts and light up when pushed. Journi's cell was very colorful and constructed in a bucket. The cells were on display in the library for all the students to see.

McMeans Jr. High 7th grade student, Robin Poole, has her locker all decorated and organized for school. Several students used their interior design skills to make their lockers more like home before school started.
